Greetings,
25 y/o living in Scarborough and I Just booked my RTI course for my M2 for mid June. Planning to get a Honda CBR250 ABS model. Not a speed demon, just trying to enjoy riding through the neighbourhood and short stops around the city for leisure. I leave the speed for my vtech on the track, hah!
Some questions for the veterans in regards to equipment. I have already purchased the following gear:
Helmet: Icon Airmada Parahuman
Jacket: Alpinestar Viper Air Jacket w/ upgraded chest and back inserts
Pants: Jeans. However, I will be wearing the Dainese Knee guards over the jeans when riding.
Gloves: Any recommendation on beginner gloves that will also suffice for RTI course and not too hot for the summer?
Boots: I am planning to get the Alpinestars MX 1 boots, how are these in terms of safety, comfort and hot summers?
Also, I feel my neck is a bit exposed and unprotected, does anyone else have the same concern for street riding? Possibly a neck brace?
