Hi, I live in Toronto of course and let me start by saying riding a bike was one of the coolest things I have EVER done so I'm pretty excited about learning more and having fun while doing it.

Having said that I really just want to get a bike right away, im looking for the ninja 250r, I tried it out at my safety course last weekend and I love it.

My main question is when is the best time to buy? I see a few in kijiji for around 4k, but a buddy of mine told me the best deals are usually in the fall so I'm just confirming this.

I am in a rush to get one because of how fun it is, financially I can support it but insurance isn't very great, I still need to call around. I am allowed to get my M2 around September 4th or so after my 60 day period. I keep beating myself up about not getting my M2 a few years ago since insurance would have been much lower even if I didnt ride.....

I guess my point is I SUPPOSEEEEEEEEEE I can wait until fall. I do plan on riding in the winter if road conditions permit it of course. I would mainly take it to work in the beginning which is about a 15 minute drive or so.

What do you guys suggest?

Thanks,

Bro to be honest, the price doesn't drop that much. maybe 200$ to 500$ that to is a maybe.Only if some rider's need money before Xma's.

If i were you,i would just buy right now and start riding before the WINTER :)

I agree, just buy it now. You have a larger selection and still plenty of riding time left.
