OK so here is my situation I had itch to ride for awhile now but my life was a disaster in everyone. I finally got my **** together and decided I want to do something for my self so beginning of spring after college ended I started saving for a bike which was going to be a Honda CBR 250r . according to my wage and calculations I was going to have enough by end of July to purchase a new one . well life happens and something happened to a close family member and I had to leave town to visit her asap so I spent my savings on a plane ticket over long weekend on 3 days notice which wasn't cheap . I'm back in the GTA now with a lot less money . I tried to go finance a CBR 2012 at Honda motor sports on Dundas and hensal but my co sign didn't go through. So now here are my options .

option A - buy a CBR 125 and ride it for rest of season gain the feel for rising and upgrade next season

Option B- scrap this season and just save up till next and get a nice starter 250 bike with no experienece

Or option C- (your input)

Sorry for long post this would be my first bike and no prior experience riding

Look forward to your advice .

Welcome.
Need some more info to look at your situation in depth.
What's your riding experience? Are you male/female? Are you full time employee/student? Do you get by alone/with support of family members?

0 riding experience taking class next month. male. full time employment and live alone on my own income.

Why oh why are you looking for a new bike? Go on kijiji and find a used CBR250 or Ninja250 in your price range, then enjoy the rest of the season.

Becuz of financing but I decided that after course I will end up with enough money to buy used 250 end of September . hopefully that is not to close to end of riding season

how much money do you have?
You can pick up an older 600 or 750 for $2500
just take it easy and u will be fine. you also wont need to upgrade for a few years and if you drop it who cares its just an old bike. also if you buy a bike older then 15year you dont get hit with the super sport rate increase. check insurance on a 1996 gsxr 600
