New Rider in Mississauga

Hey guys,
I recently got my M2 license and just bought my first bike. It's a 2013 CBR 500R. I just wanted to know what I'd need in order to start riding.
I already have a helmet, jacket and a pair of gloves. A couple of my buddies suggested I buy a frame slider for the bike. I just wanted to know if any of you had any idea as to where I could pick up a pair for the 2013 CBR 500R model.
Would really appreciate the help. I was even looking to get a tank guard and rim tape for the bike.

On another note, would love to be part of a riding group.

Thanks again,
Cheers.

Trevor

Nice bike! Welcome to the forum

Sliders should be available at the dealer no? If not maybe royal distributing can order some?

Welcome!

Welcome and ride safe. Any bike shop should be able to order your frame sliders in if they don't stock them.

Welcome.
You really should consider starting off by riding alone and building up your skill foundation. Group rides are not just yet for you.

welcome! And congrats on new bike!

Welcome! I got the cb500x as my first bike this year. I've been riding solo with one group ride. Enjoy both! Group riding takes some getting used to. Start with a small group! Enjoy the ride

Welcome - also in Mississauga.
Great choice of bike.
PM me and I can show some of the local roads.

I'd stay off groups. Find a compatible riding buddy.

My previous riding partner did these up for new riders - I helped with a few.

and Shane has an extensive list.

Once you get comfortable take a weekend for PA ....utter bliss.

.4-5 hours and you are are into "grin til it hurts" riding areas. and you've got a nice jump to get there from Sauga.
