New Rider in Ajax

Hello Everyone,


Just a few things about myself as I get started on the GTA motorcycling forum. Recently started biking, got my M2 last summer and immediately bought a new bike (2015 Yamaha R3) a couple of weeks later. The temptation was unquestionably real, unfortunately, didn't find a suitable insurance quote until the end of the riding season. So just started riding as soon as the weather got decent this year, so far it's been amazing! Learning something new every day, and hope to keep improving my on-road skills. If you ride around the Ajax area and are looking for new riding buddies, give me a shout!

Where did you break in the bike? Just bought a ninja 300 and have to keep it in low revs... So 70-80kms roads around Pickering

Congratulations. Ya insurance is starting to be a pain in the ***. Im in ajax too got my m2 last year. Ill send you a pm if your down to ride.

Hey andrei123, my dealer told me about using the first 1000 km to break-into the bike. Though the dealer told me to warm the bike up before riding it and keep the revs low, and not constantly high. So example even on 70-80 km roads I shift to 6th gear at time to keep the RPM low. I hope I am doing it right!
