Hey everyone, i'm new to the forum and new to the world of motorcycles. I'v had a few dirtbikes and still have a race quad but this is my first street legal bike. i'm riding a 2010 yamaha wr250x. I've had it for 3 weeks now and I'm loving it. I'm hoping to meet some fellow riders from the area.

Well theres a place not too many know, I grew up there a long time ago when the school was open (longer than that LOL) I'm guessing the guys beside the library are too old to ride with and the wrong type of bikes :)

What do you have to say about the handling and speed? Can you get a set of rims and convert it to a dual sport and back and forth?

handling is good, it's very easy to throw around and the brakes are awesome. speed on the other hand is good enough for me. for a 250cc bike it will top out at 160km/h but it can cruise at 120 or so without over-revving. theres a quite a few people on wr250rforum. that are running other sets of rims and tires for the dirt.

If theres anyone in the brantford area that ever wants to go for a ride im usually out in the brantford/dundas/flamborough area.
