new motorcycle

30... so not looking to race or anything just want a good cruiser bike for next year to get to work and back and once in a while on the weekends

30 is a good age , have you priced out insurance because even thow your 30 its still an 1100cc insurance companies arent big fans of high cc bikes and its a powerful first bike if youve never driven a bike before but that my opinion and thats what ive got from reading information on the forum, ive never been on an 1100cc so hopefully someone more experienced will come give their opinion

Yeah, that's hardly high mileage. Pretty average for what you see for 10+ bikes.

As for buying it without seeing it, if that's what you mean, pretty bad idea. You should thoroughly inspect it and check the ergos to see if they suit you. Price - $2,300-400.

That's also a Quebec bike which means extra paperwork and higher risk (hidden damage, mileage fraud, etc.) although maybe not for an older cruiser.

Insurance, one way, you should be able to find for under $100/month as long as your record's clean.
