New Iron, New Rider

Hey GTA riders! Feels great to finally be on 2 wheels! Got my new bike (iron 883) a couple weeks ago. I swapped out the bars for the straight drag style and got the V&H staggered black shorties put on. Man, what a rumble. Totally new to the game (just got my M2 last Monday), but holycrap, what a game!! I've managed to nail down around 500 kms in spite of the colder weather. Single digit temps can't tear me away. When i'm not riding, i'm thinking about riding. But after this weekend I think I'll have to put her to bed. She'll need the rest for next spring, no doubt. Are there any other Iron riders in TO? Any suggestions on some solid rides?

And one last thing ... Riders rule.
If everyone was as friendly as the biker community, the world would be a far better place.

Enjoy your bike and the amazing weather we're enjoying. Not my style of bike but I always figure lowering bars is always a good thing. :)

As far as destinations/routes go, that will depend a lot on where you live. Good luck, have fun, don't get too carried away until you have some solid experience collected.
 
Nice bike! The Iron was actually the first HD that I ever rode (demo day from two summers ago). It may be the smallest Harley out there, but remember that it's a whole lot of bike for a new rider. Take it easy, and enjoy!

Check out the ride section and you'll find plenty of hidden destinations you can explore. Also the photo tag threads can offer some neat places to check out.

I love the cast wheels for the Iron and there is plenty of ways to make your bike your own. You can change the look and performance so easy. It's only a matter of the size of your wallet or credit card limit.
