My new helmet and riding jeans arrived a week early from Fortnine.. Kudos to them!!
Biltwell gringo ece helmet and Scorpion Covert Jeans
After reading and watching many reviews on both products they suit my riding style, level of protection and functionality on / off the bike.
I was worried about pants as I feel my gut and waistline have only grown as a protest to Covid-19 with the helmet I am usually a large but read from a few review's to go up a size due to the new ECE rating as it adds extra padding (Just like my gut!) While a little long, the pants fit very well.
Jebus! I gained 2cm's in neck length trying to pull the damn thing off and I'm sure my face looked like someone was holding a turn under my nose..
I know, I know it will get better as it get broken in.. Just wanted to have a little fun at my own expense. Bad enough I ride a Harley, so it will just have to do until I get to Tim's for a coffee and a pose with my posse..
Other than that both seem to be of excellent quality and will get enjoyment for many a season.
As for why I chose the Gringo, I really wanted a 3/4 but I like my face and chin so I though this was a nice in-between. Plus it is a simple, clean design.
