New Bike questions

Just bought first bike with m1.
I bought a Honda cbr 125 with plans of upgrading next season.
I picked it up now as its a buyers market.
It has 1600 kms.
Ok so on high beams only one front light is on
On low also only one light.
It came certified so what is the deal here?
Also it doesn't have a center stand.
Not sure what the deal on the lights are.
I plan to do my m1 exit next month.
Thanks.

I'm not up to par with the baby Honda's, but maybe one light is the low beam, and the other is the high beam? Not all bikes come with center stands, especially "sport" bikes. Good luck with the M1 exit.

Edit: A quick Google reveals that one headlight is your DRL, and the other is your High Beam...so there's nothing wrong.

Centestand is handy to have, but you could always buy a wheel stand. I haven't looked too closely (as I have a centrestand) but you could probably find one for <= $50

the one headlight thing is normal (check your manual to be 100% sure), most sport bikes don't have center stands, welcome to riding and congratz on the new bike :)

center stands on sport bikes is a "cultural nono"...

One side of you bike's lights functions as low beam ,while the other will function as high beam.

Welcome to the forums!

Thanks to everyone that replied.
Hopefully it stays warm for a bit is it safe to ride till maybe 5 degrees or is that too low for the tires?

It is safe to ride as long as you realize you have less grip on colder pavement, and that tires take longer to warm up, and therefore you should ride less aggressively and stay very aware of available grip as you ratchet up the traction demands you place on the bike. Do that and you can ride anytime.
