New bike day!

Watched the Tenere700 get loaded on a flat deck today and it's gone.
After that I signed off on the paperwork for a barely used 2019 Tracer Gt!
I don't pick it up until Tuesday but I'm stoked!

Very nice! Next time make sure your buddy is in front of you during rides.

How’s he doing btw? You’re all good physically?
My buddy is home and recovering nicely. Happy to report that other than a little stiffness I survived unscathed.
A few guys have kicked in parts and time and his Harley is almost back together with zero insurance involved on his end.
I'll be made whole on Tuesday by my insurance.
Now to see what happens with insurance rates in the future...

Congrats on the new bike and glad to hear your friend is on the mend without deep dents in his insurance and/or wallet.

Sweet ride!

You planning on doing less off road with this, or are you going to slap some 80/20 or 50/50 tires on this.

Congrats bud, sweet ride
awesome engine and electronic goodies!

Congrats @Iceman . Glad to hear you and your friend are healing up.

What was the final list of damage on the T7? Was the exhaust and subframe sufficient to write it off or were there bigger issues?

Are your picking up something else for the dirt or sticking with pavement for a while?

Would like to hear your review, Tracer GT is the closest I've come to buying an ADV bike

Congrats. A great "do everything on pavement all day" bike.

A buddy put a beak on his. Makes it look so much better.

This one will be a pavement queen lol.
With the health problems offroading is proving to be too much currently, at least with 500 pound bikes.
I also spend most of my time on road as my wife is my primary riding partner and she does not offroad anymore.
The t7 is a fabulous bike but it gets outshined if you're primarily riding asphalt.

Thanks, I'm excited to try it out! Never had a bike with an electronics package before. In fact, my t7 was my first bike with abs.
I will say I was soooo tempted by a low mileage 2017 super duke gt. That thing was awesome, however I had a hard budget in mind and the Gt pushed past it by nearly 5000 lol.

Bike was fully rideable, but as soon as they saw the minor frame damage they wrote it off.
I'm likely going to buy a smaller dualsport next year again.

No problem, I'll gladly give you my thoughts after I ride it.
If you want to, we can hook up one day soon and you can give it a good go on your own. I've always liked the 919 and never tried one lol.
