Need to Register my vehicle, but no time.

I've looked all over the internet and have even tried to find out some information, but have had no luck. I am unable to make it to service ontario within 6 days to register my new motorcycle. Is someone else allowed to submit the paperwork to register the vehicle as UNFIT? I do not have a day off that will fit into the hours of operations atleast for the next month.

Thanks.

Just don't transfer it until you can get there, it's not a big deal. My first bike I waited until I had her ready for safety before I transferred; about 8 weeks. Also, my dad did the transfer, so in answer to your question, yes, someone else can do the transfer, but don't do it if you plan on getting a temp permit to take it from your house to the safety place.

I waited nearly 2 moths after buying one of my bikes before I was able to get a safety and then transferring the ownership. The bill of sale was dated the day I bought it and the lady at service Ontario didn't even mention it.

register when you got time.

That six day rule isn't enforced. I had a frame I just registered that was dated 1.5 years ago. The service ont person didn't even ask.

If you get a secondary form like the dealer uses, you can fill out the blanks for what you want, sign and date it and the Ministry will do the changes for whoever brings it in. it's the only way I have found to change a vehicle title without the new owner being present. But as others have said, just do it when you have time.

Nobody else can register your vehicle to your name, however, as others have stated, the 6 day rule is not at all enforced. I have owned about 10 vehicles and only once or twice have I registered them within the limit.

What bike did you get?

Yes they can. They need your license number, insurance slip, signed ownership transfer, and money for taxes and tag. My dad got me a registration and temp permit with no problems
