Need someone to rebuild my honda 929 forks

Hey guys
I have honda cbr600rr with 929 front end, the forks are leaking from the seals and crush washers at the bottom of the forks where the axle goes. I do most of the work on my bike myself but forks is not something i have experience doing on my own and i dont have the tools. Is there somebody you guys can recommend on this forum that rebuilds forks ?
Preferably in the west end.
I am looking for a complete fork disassembly with inspection of all components and assembly with new fluid, seals, crush washers plus anything else it may require.
I called pro 6 cycle ( great experience in the past) but unfortunately i wasn't happy with the price and turn around time as they are very busy.
I also called champion cycle (never dealt with in the past) and was quoted $250 parts and labour taxes in and was told the turn around time would be 2-3 days. Both the quotes were for loose forks removed from the bike.
I can deliver the forks but do need back for the weekend.
Thanks in advance

$250 all in seems pretty cheap to me... I nominate you to try them out and tell us how it goes

I doubt you'll find a shop that charges less than $250 for the work you need done.

My research led me to Rider's Choice. I had them refresh my Ohlins R&T forks and upgrade to superbike valving. They have staff with such suspension experience, including national roadracing factory team experience.

Unfortunetly i had nothing but bad experience with riders choice, im not sure what experience you are speaking about but most of the employees and technicians i dealt with were very young and i doubt they have experience behind them. The owner 'john' i believe his name is , very unpleasant to deal with, i went in with a idea of what i wanted and the guy just bashed every product i mentioned and would not explain on why the stuff thAt he recommends is better. He would simply say its better, well
Thats not good enough for me.
I go there only to buy my oil as they have the best price for the motul 7100 in the area.
Im glad your experience was better than mine.

Too bad on your experience.

Jeff is there and a former Canadian Factory Honda Road Race technician. Not young. He did my work. I'm thinking Jeff Bloor.

I had Kyle USA help me out in building and spec'ing my Ohlins R&T forks and they knew of Jeff and worked with him often before. Pretty good network contacts imo.

Rider's Choice is hit or miss. I've seen stuff come out of there done really half *** and obviously rushed.

A stock 929 fork rebuild is not rocket surgery. Any decent shop should be able to do it.

Champion Cycle is more known for drag bikes and motor work, but I'd imagine they're more than capable of a basic fork service.

I don't think you'll find anyone that'll do it cheaper than Danny. His techs know their stuff, only heard great stuff from customers I've sent to him (mostly for exhaust upgrades and dyno tuning).

If you want cheap & well done, try frekeyguy. He's done quite a bit of fork, plus he loves what he do

$250 bucks is a fair, good price for forks off the bike, delivered, rebuild.
Inspect and correct, oil seals and dust seals, fresh fluid. Sweet.
But you can spend a lot of money on front suspensions, valve kits etc.
Like Rider's Choice can hook you up with that stuff.
Anyway your 929 front end should be sweet if brought to being properly functional.
Yeah don't worry about having work done when it's an unusual/obscure job and there are unusual tools required.
