Hey guys,

Someone recently knocked over my bike, still pretty ****** off. Did not catch the guy so im stuck paying for it myself.
Parts needed: New rear brake foot pedal (its bent in a bit and most of the time the brake light is on because of it), front brake lever (not mandatory but the ball broke off the end of mine), and also need take off the right fairing so I can get some body work done on it.

Some people told me for the back brake I can bend it back out with a screw driver (tried with my hand and pulling it out but its not budging but even if i Bend it back out I think it might still leave the brake light on. Worth a try tho.

Also people say you can buy chinese made (non oem) fairings for like $120 so if anyone knows how to find them please tell me because they have none for ninja 400r on ebay.

On a tight budget!

Also tried to take off the fairing and it was not as easy as it looks. Most of the bikes are different but my fairing is all one piece. Had a lot of bolts and pieces taken off but it still wasnt coming off if anyone knows a trick or something please let me know lol

coming out to your bike on it's side is definitely a surefire way to ruin your day. Have been there a few times, sucks man...hope everything goes well.

Do your search for 650r parts.. they will be exactly the same for the pedal and lever you need, and a lot more plentiful.

As for the fairings.. in addition to the bolts there are also push pins.. once all the bolts are out give it a gentile yet forceful tug.

Get the cheap eBay folding levers, that way when it gets knocked over next time they won't break. Plus it'll prolly cost you less than oem

Controls both lever and foot pedal arent that expensive to replace, just buy new. Donald of platinum motorsports showed me a cool trick at the track (because i fall down too much) with aluminum where you heat it for 5 min, dip it in cool water and it becomes butter soft to bend. Can try removing the rear brake lever and bending it that way.
