Need some advice please

Guys I'm new to the forum and just recently got my full M.....a little late in life (48yrs). I'm interested in getting some advice based on your experience on how I can take part in some of the track days posted on here. Seems a little confusing to me as to whether I need licensing first and where I can get that if needed. I'm located in North Bay so getting to any of the tracks in Ontario is abit of a trek. Would eventually love to race VRRA (low budget kind of guy). Can you guys give some idea on how you got started ....steps you took....and any advice?

Licensing is only for racing - no need to get one for track days. If you ever interested then do a search for SOAR or RACE

Track days only - go read the sticky in this forum posted by shaman, gives you everything you need to know.

Gtam has a track day coming up, probably a good starting point.

After you read the sticky thread the. You can ask more specific questions people here can answer

Appropriate gear and bike prep is all you need to do trackdays. But best to check with who is running the day to see what is required. Racing is a whole other ball of wax.... but yes requires a "race" licence.
