Need insurance for CB1000RA

hi am 27 year old, have G licence since 2004, got my M1 licence not too long ago but because of my experience that I have from brazil they will let me go straight to M next month. I bought 2012 CB1000ra and need insurance for it. is there anyone who can help me to get good rate? i try intact and they want @$4000 year. not too happy with that quote lol thank you
 
You may be faced with high insurance until you get your M, no matter where you go or wait until next month.

On another note I own a 2011 CB1000RA where about are you? these bikes are pretty rare around this area.
 
FYI State Farm's Toronto rates suck. They told me so after giving me a quote for something like $200/mo on my 650.
 
Are you effing kidding me? I'm older, more canadian experience and statefarm quotes me more for a 600? (clean record Btw).

Thank god i switched to Allstate.

P.s, OP good job on the insurance quote. Hope they don't raise it every year like they did for me...
 
Somehow missed that you already got a good rate with SF. My rate in "York" was like $200/mo (or something like that, I don't entirely remember but it was pretty high) from SF for my 650R.
 
well I did have car insurance with them already. the lady said that just because of that it was @ $100 less/month and the area where I live @$50less/month, maybe that's y. and they don't look at your motorbike license they care about G licence.
