As the title states...have some flushmount lights I would like to install, but a little leary of the electrical part.....so someone with electrical wire cutters would be helpful!

I live in the downtown area....would be working in my driveway ....let me know if your free tonight! Maybe ride afterwards

Also Just wondering what I would need to purchase in order to lower my 636? I dont wnt to lower it much just a bit.

Any help is much appreciated.

Wow a chick that rides a 636!!!!! I WILL help! Do you have beer?

I have read that lowering a bike will adversely affect its handling ability.

Unless you have problems flat footing I would try to avoid it entirely if possible.

There are other options like shaving the stock seat or getting a lower profile aftermarket one.

Shaving my seat. ? How do I do that?

If you don't upset the front/rear geometry then handling doesn't suffer. The only thing that changes is a loss of ground clearance because the bike is physically lower.

With that being said, I've run into people who just lower the rear without touching the front. THAT definitely impacts handling characteristics.

I see, that does make sense, thanks for the explanation.

Note...if you have no interest in helping others...move on to the next thread. Infractions will be handed out for trolling, insults, etc.
