I'm rigging up my keyless ignition and I don't have an OEM ignition switch to check.

Does anyone have one I can borrow? Or if you're mechanically inclined would you be willing to make some checks with a multimeter for me? For obvious reasons let's keep the technical info off the public forum. It's a fairly simple task and I can guide you through it.

Me love you long time?

PM me if you can help.

Kawi usually uses the same ignition switch and connector for all ZX models, it pops right out the bottom of the ignition lock housing....Then you can just use a flat object to turn that on and off...Rather then trying to get the right diode and make your own switch....This way it plugs right into the original connector...

I have some if you want one, but I leave Sat morning and wont be back till Jan 2nd...

Tried PMing you this morning but your inbox is full.

Can you ship to me?

Here is one I have removed from an ignition switch housing, the black part in the middle has a slot in it to turn it....If you had an ignition mount on your bike, a couple of layers of electrical tape around the edge and the press in nice and tight keyless ign....

Thanks. I don't even need to keep the switch. Basically the RH handlebar kill switch is wired to be always-on andthe ignition switch is run through the RH handlebar kill switch. There's no provision to mount the ignition cylinder on the Attack clamps so this is the cleanest, simplest, cheapest solution.

I rigged this up on my 04 and it worked fine, I just need an ignition switch to determine which wires do what. The wiring schematic in the service manyal leaves that little tidbit out.
