Need help shipping a bike from Moncton to Toronto

Thanks for the reply.

There are actually lots of professional companies that will ship the bike.

What I am looking for is a motorcyclist with an enclosed trailer that can add my bike to his run.
I am looking to save some money over what the professional movers charge.

The chances of finding someone on here that is in Moncton with a bike trailer are super slim to none.
It would probably be cheaper of more fun to buy a one way ticket there and ride it home :D

Ya, for sure !

I just bought the bike and the plan was to ride it home in the spring.
I decided I want it here soon so I can do some upgrades on it ;)

If you have access to a car with a hitch, uhaul rents open bike trailers for I think $25 a day

Just rent a truck for about 100$/day and go get the bike yourself. you'll be easy able to do there and back within 4 days...

I doubt that include km's?

Be a cowboy. Get a heated liner, check for rain and ride it home. Its a days ride. As long as it doesnt rain it wont be a problem. Not the best weather but you can do it.

Its 14.99 per day from Uhaul for a motorcycle trailer. If you have access to a truck or a larger size vehicle you got it made.

Well as luck would have it i am in the process of buying a house about 25 min east of Moncton, supposed to close mid Dec.
No fixed plans yet but quite possible that i pull a trailer load or two out there, Owner will rent house back till march 15th, but i get to use the shop to start moving before, nothing final but if your stuck we should talk.
Currently located in Wiarton so will go across Gta both ways.

And you are willing to take a chance with someone you don't know, who may or may not know how to properly strap a bike in, who may or may not take undo care of this bike in relation to loading/unloading thier own possesions, or who may or may not be someone who has the intention of the bike NOT showing up at it's predetermined destination, there are a million " what if's"......

Is saving a few bucks worth the risk?

Good luck, I hope it works out for you in a positive way.......
