Numb

Hi guys, trying to get 2 rides in these next two days. Took the bike out turned her on and it started dripping green liquid on the left side front fairing. Looks like its coming from a thick tube. I'm pretty bad with Ike knowledge so I'm pretty clueless. Second question is can I ride it out for the next two days ? Thanx guys

It's anti-freeze and you can't ride it with that leaking. 1) it may cause the engine to overheat and 2) it's slippery as F*** and can get on your tires.

What Wasted Said.

Check you radiator for dents and or cracks and check your hoses for decay or loose connectors etc.

identify where the leak is from. IF its a cracked hose, duct tape the hell out of it. top up coolant. observe and ride.

disclaimer: follow my advise at your own risk!

Why not just replace the hose, problem solved. Did you ever check or change the coolant on the bike? If it is an 05 and the coolant has never been changed it probably has a freezing point of zero degrees....

Thanks guys. I'm wondering if this was caused by the cold temps in my shed or because my bike was tipped onto its left side by a car a few months back. Tried to get a detailed damage report printed out from the shop but it's been erased already. What do you guys think? Also to answer earlier question yeah topped it off but that was quite awhile ago.

I would bet that it was caused by the bike being knocked over. It could have loosened or cracked a hose or damaged the rad. Either way I'd have it properly repaired before taking it out for a ride. It may only be a leak now but if a hose lets go you're going to get yourself into trouble.
