Need advice on CAA travel medical insurance claim

Had a boo-boo in Virginia last Friday. Broke the ulna and radius in my left forearm and had surgery the same day. I've called CAA and filed a claim.

Wondering what I should expect now. They operated before I had a chance to notify CAA as it was an emergency, which I know they don't like too much, but under the circumstances that's what had to be done.

Along the same lines, should I file a claim with my motorcycle insurance? The bike looks to be more or less fixable, so I'm not too concerned about that, just don't know if I'm missing out on anything else
 
The last time I read the contract over, it said it would cover x % if you notify them before being admitted to the hospital..or asap and (x minus y)% if you notify them after a certain time. I dont have the contract anymore since I dont use them right now but it should say there.
