Need access to a metal lathe

Hi,

I want to know if anyone on this board has a metal lathe or knows where I can access one. I have stainless steel brake actuator arm that needs to be necked down at one end, from its current diameter of 9mm to 6mm. This only needs to be done at the tip for 1cm. I would use a drill press and file but the actuator is 20cm long, too long to chuck in a drill press with safety. I live in North York. I have a guy in Blackstock (not close to you I know), but I take stuff like that to him all the time (they got all kinds of equipment, CNC, etc.) and he usually just charges me $20.

Thanks. Blackstock is a bit far to travel for this small job. I called a machine shop today and they did the work for me for free since it was so quick and simple.
