Hey guys,
As you can tell by the screen name I'm building an r6 go kart off an extended 28/28 go kart frame thats been heavily modified to handle the power and weight. I'm almost done the fram and have the motor suspended above it so I can get started on mounts. After evaluating the motor that came with this thing i still need a few parts after the mounts are done to get it running. But once everything is attached im going to be taking the kart to the suspension shop i work at to finish the fine details there over the winter.
The Reason for the post:
I'm looking for somone who has some experience with the 2003 yzf r6 motor. My general knowledge is probably good enough to get the job done but it can never hurt to hear some oppinions from somone with more specific experience. So this goes out to anyone that would know how to hook it up. get it running, know about chains sprockets and gear ratios, or anyone that knows about repairing theese motors or common problems.
The payoff isn't crazy but the deal is; come out for a bit take a look at the project, offer some thoughts and have a beer.
After that ill have some peace in mind knowing i have somones number that knows what their doing that wouldent mind helping with some troubleshooting for a case of beer or a bit of loot. The kart will be for sale at somepoint as well and youll have a chance to bid if interested. and of course when its done you can take it for a spin.
So If anyone knows this motor and lives around east GTA in the vacinity of snow city im not too far. send me a pm and weel get in contact.
For everyone else Ride Safe and Have Fun!
