So I dropped my bike. Nothing serious but still unpleasant ...my first time in 20 years. I was trying to bump start and it tipped over in slow motion with me caught in a frozen scream NNNNNOOOOOO!
My installed R & G products prevented any fairing damage and the only casualty was a R&G handlebar end.
I had a hell of a time finding an R&G dealer when last August (i ordered online finally) so when I saw the forum ad for this shop I was pleased.
So I drove up to Markham and found the small shop. There was a note on the door saying "stepped out for a few minutes" and a phone number.
My phone was dead so I borrowed one from the hairstyle shop beside it. No answer
. I left a message and waited. 10 minutes...maybe 15 . I was a bit ****** because it was not really close to my home in T.O. and I wanted to replace the handlebar end.
Instead of going home I went shopping and came back about 30 minutes later
The owner let me in and I was glad I waited.
The shop feels like a "boutique" and i immediately wanted to own a place just like it.
Clean, neat....a quiet getaway surrounded by my favourite toys...and no silly customers to bother me.
It was a Sunday but there was NO foot traffic and the new strip mall complex was a ghost town.
I met Raj (I hope thats right?!?) and he was very helpful ... and sincerely apologetic for inconveniencing me. We found a suitable replacement R&G bar end and he got out his tool set and came out front to help me install them.
The prices were EXCELLENT. and although the inventory was small it was well thought out.
I also picked up a great tank bag for about 30 bucks I will definately go back.
If you go... I suggest you look at the posted store hours (like I did) but CALL FIRST (like i didnt).
cheers
