My scorpio i900 is bugging out?

So in the past week my scorpio i900 is bugging out.

it all started when my battery terminal was a bit loose, and the bike shut off on me. After it was fixed....i started noticing my scorpio i900 was a bit buggy.

normally, i rotate the key to the on position and the alarm disarms
vs
now, when i rotate the key to the on position, there's a delay to when the alarm disarms, so i must twist it to the off, then back on to allow it enough time to disarm so the alarm wont go off. so now it's ON, off, ON in the ignition (not a big deal)

but this part annoys me, i noticed that some times while riding.....my alarm arms itself?!?!
now when it arms itself while im riding, the alarm wont go off, but it's just annoying because i can hear the ''beep'' and my 4-ways flash really once really quickly when it does arm itself....

anyone have had a similar issue?

p.s.
RFID keyfob is attached to my key
alarm is near the rear of the bike

p.p.s.

just fixed it. turns out the keyfob was just too far away from the antenna of the alarm for the ''arm and disarm''
moved the antenna closer to the middle of the bike.
however i had this for a year with out an issue, so im guessing the strength of either the RFID in the keyfob or the antenna is decreasing through time, which sucks

how are the batteries in the unit?

1. the battery life for the keyfob is about a week and a half to 2 weeks, before i have to charge it.

2. the alarm it self doesn't drain the battery as fast as other alarms do i find. I had left my bike in the garage once for 3 weeks without starting it, with the alarm armed the whole time, when i came back from vacation it started right up, with no issue.
however, my battery is only 1 year old, and is kept on a battery tender during winter.
my older battery would have died much faster, the previous battery was about 5 years old (from previous owner, looked to be in rough shape, and was sounding weak even on start up)
