My Ninja 300

I picked up my Ninja 300 today with 230 km. Its the ABS ebony model and she is so much fun to ride. Still going through the break in period though. Very glad that I started with a 300cc bike. Now I need to find a FE and white rim tape. It came with pink rim tape which is a bit embarrassing.

Also I would like to thank Dresden for helping me out on phone when the bike would not start. I was couple of kilometres away from home and I panicked. Turns out I didnt shut down the bike in neutral and it would not start haha. Silly Noob! Saved me one CAA tow.

EDIT: Also looking for cheap safety within East York region since I got 10 day Temporary permit.

Congrats on the bike. I got the same one. I'm in the Milton area if you ever want to go for a ride.

thanks. I would love to but I live in East York. When did you do your first oil change? I still need to read the fat manual and figure out everything.

What's wrong with pink? Pink is just fine. Anyways, I too have one of these, and enjoy it very much!

congrats on the bike if u need any gear link under is good for all u need parts gear and others

Gratz on the 300, should be fun bike to ride and should have a bit more punch than the 250R =), ride safe and have fun, this week + weekend = great days to ride =)

Nice looking bike. Welcome to gtam

Sent from my piss poor iPhone while sitting on my squidly gixxxxxxxxxer

welcome and nice bike great to learn on!

Thanks, fellas! Didnt want to make a thread, so I will just post here. How do you complete a left turn from two lane road to a two lane road. I was turning left last night from eastbound O'Connor to northbound Pape.

I was on right tire track of the left lane but it was very hard to see if there is any car coming straight. Most cars were making left turn to southbound Pape from westbound O'Connor. I trusted my gut and I went for it. But I was scared what if there is a car coming straight at me? All these worries made me complete a huge *** wide turn and I ended up on the right lane right tire track lol.

Should I have been on left tire track when I was making the left turn? Would it possibly give me a better view of traffic ahead?

Thanks for the pdf. I knew I should have been on the left tire track. I felt like driving a rhd car when I was on right tire track.

When you're sitting in an intersection waiting to make a left turn, place yourself wherever you need to be to see oncoming traffic, and for oncoming traffic to see you. You do not need to be in any sort of blocking position once you're sitting in the intersection.

BTW, if you're on Facebook, join our Ninja 250/300 GTA group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/599320063427263/

Nope. Only shows up to you.

We organize a lot of rides (some noob friendly, some not) in the group, feel free to join in when you're ready and have some seat time.

Sweet bike! I got to ride one this year, defiantly a fun bike to start on. Hopefully you don't get any stalling problems with the EFI. Also, this is just an opinion and I know others on here will completely disagree with this but I'll leave a link down below. You said you're still in break- in stage eh:P? Don't take er easy, rev hard and do an oil change immediately.

I like that this guy has a vid on how to back it in but can't back it in himself haha

I really like the styling of the 300. Sweet bike, congrats!

You know, a few weeks ago I would've agreed with you but then one day an old lady pulled up next to me in an intersection and completely blocked me off.

Thanks, the headlight fairings sort of look like CBR600RR which I really wanted ;). The other day I was on an intersection, a little bit more left of the right tire track. A middle age guy in his lexus suv pulled up beside me. I looked at him and he seemed like everything was normal. Dafuq? You are lane splitting with me buddy.
