Edit: The weather up in the Huntsville area is calling for a good amount of rain all day Tuesday. Wednesday is looking good up there, so I'm going to postpone heading up by one day. Hope that some of the rain cleans the roads up too.

This is an all day ride I'm going on if anyone wants to join - Wednesday Nov. 2

Meeting Spot: Ready to ride out at 8am @ Tim Hortons/Shell station at Innisfil Beach Rd, just east of Hwy 400... located here

Pace: Fun in the corners and responsible/respectful everywhere else. This is not for new riders and there might be sand on some of these roads from the snow that may have fallen last week.

Lunch: Since the days are short, I'm packing a lunch and eating by a scenic spot somewhere. No plans to stop at a sit down restaurant.

Route: https://goo.gl/maps/ADfgcDntVL62 - includes Coopers Falls Rd, Muskoka Beach Rd, Falkenburg Rd, 141, Swords Rd, Hwy518, Chetwynd Rd, Hwy520, Bunny Trail, Hurdville Rd/McDougall Rd, Peninsula Rd & Southwood Rd

I'm coming from Mississauga and want to be home before dark.
Cheers!
Shane

Looking forward to it and hoping the weather gods are kind.

If anyone wants the GPX file, send me your email address.

Make sure you double check the local forecast for up there...apparently it has been snowing, plus they've been out salting a fair amount because of it.

But....but....your bike will turn into a giant pile of rust next spring if you get any salt on it! :p

Kidding of course. Enjoy, the weather is looking good... I may come down with a case of Wednesday Acute Respiratory Syndrome myself, a full day of riding in decent temps in November does sound appealing.

I don't mind riding in the cold or riding in the rain, but I'm not a fan of riding in the cold and rain:)
Cheers!

Thanks bud.

If anyone is planning on meeting us at the Innisfil Tim's, please PM me or post up - otherwise we won't stop there and just head north!

Salters and sander were out around here likely would have been out in Muskoka they had a fair amount of snow as well.

I don't think this is the time to go up north especially up to Muskoka, i'm happy from Oshawa i could go for a spin in Omemee, Bethany, stop for coffee and that's about it. Enjoy Shane if you went up there today:)

Going tomorrow instead because of the rain up north today:)
Haven't been up to the Bunny Trail all season and figure it will be the last ride up north of the season for me.
Should be a nice day tomorrow.

A very good friend passed away last night so I'm going to skip this ride.
Cheers.
My condolences Shane.

It's actually calling for rain today. Probably safer to not do this trip.

Condolences
