Muskoka Ride Saturday July 23rd

so my regular riding buddy bailed out on me for a Muskoka ride tomorrow, and I was going to go by myself, but decided to extend a last minute invitation, and maybe meet some new people

Ride details are as follows:

Leave 7:30AM 400/Teston N/B OnRoute
Pace: +/- 20 on the highway, close to speed limit through towns, as far as the twisties go we are all adults and can make our own decisions,

There will be stops for gas, and a few quick stops for water, and maybe a quick snack, but definitely no sit down lunch.

when are you looking to get back?? My last muskoka run was 1000 km and a 15 hr day but this weekend I'm home alone and got the two dogs to manage.
 
Also interested. So meet at teston onroute at 7:30 leave at 8?

should be back by 2 -3 .

Will be leaving the OnRoute at 400 and Teston at 7:30 Sharp, with full tanks and empty bladders

I'm in as long as you can tolerate a mediocre rider and a definitly more than mediocre gs500. I'll be coming from Whitby, it'll take an hour or so to get to the meet spot.
 
Can't make it but for others, it's a solid route. The 518 is a fun road (Best road I've ridden in the province...bears notwithstanding)

6am, GPS says it's going to take an hour 10 to get there and this way it leaves me some wiggle room since in geographicaly challenged
 
Not to rain on your parade but traffic is a mess up this way and will be all weekend.
Lots of festivals going on from Barrie to collingwood up thru Muskoka.
Plus with the beautiful weather all the city folks are rushing north.
Lots of traffic lots of police presence.

By teston/400 onroute you mean the king city onroute correct? Just making sure.

Awesome ride guys, good route and nice to do an early ride and get back before 3pm. last 200km straight stretch to home was kind of killer though.

Im the guy that "bailed" on mbroyda, but Im glad I didnt actually bail. Great run today. I came out of the food court and there were like ten bikes there. Nice turnout!

Lets do it again.
