muffler cement vs orange high temp RTV gasket for exhaust leak

I have a few small holes in my exhaust header near the end point where the exhaust attaches to the flange. I brought the exhaust to Rocket Motorcycle but unfortunately not much can be done with it since it's stainless steel and very thin metal.

The guys at Rocket said just use high temp gasket stuff to seal the small holes.

So my question is which should I use, muffler cement? or the high temperature orange RTV stuff?

the RTV will blow out under pressure, its a RTV GASKET

you COULD RTV it then use a piece of metal and clamp it together, the RTV will act as a gasket and the metal + clamp will provide some form of structure.

cement will crack in 2-3 weeks, i've uset all of it. Your best bet is tig weld.

muffler cement and RTV silicones work and have a job, but that job is not to be a bandaid. You need a skilled welder but it may be less expensive to replace the header.
