MTO threw me a bone

Before I denounced my Ontario papers over to Quebec back in 09, I was 18 with a g1/m2. I was told the g1 would be nullified since it was a learners permit, but would receive moto class 6A with 4 points probationary. I really wanted to ride, so I took what they gave me. I never got around to getting a car license in quebec, and for the last 4.5 years I've been stuck with just a measly piece of motorcycle plastic certification.

I turned my 6A into mto, and was given full M with G1 license since my 4-demerit point probationary expired in Nov2012. The g1 with M license gives me privilege for G2 road test.... I booked road test, and should have M/G2 in April.

The only motorcycle test I've done was rti getting m2!

Lucky you, I got it the other way around.

Started in Quebec with written test to get a 6R, then a skills test (MOST) to get a 6A learners and finally road test to get a full 6A.

Then 20 months later, I moved to Ontario and they gave me a M2 stating that I didn't own a full 6A for 24 months and now I have to go for another road test here. A little scared about it because I might have picked a lot of bad habits (have to remember all those shoulder checks and blocking position).

M2 and m give you g1 privileges, I've alwayswondered if you cand do m1 m2 then get g2

You can. I booked my g2 test with my lisc only showing m2.

I got my G2 a few months ago (I hate the cage), but have had my M2 for almost 5 years.

I just got my notice that my M2 expires this August. I only ride a 230 so I don't think I can get my M on that. I think I have to be on at least 250. What to do, what to do...

You can get your M on that as long as it can do HWY speed, which I think it can :)

Call RTI, they routinely test people with sub 250 highway capable bikes
