Moving from Quebec to Ontario insurance

Hi, this is my first post on here and I'm hoping it's not a repeat. I'm currently in the process of switching my insurance from the province of Quebec to Ontario. I went to get my drivers record yesterday and they only show my tickets in the last 2 years where I have accumulated demerit points. Does that mean that the Ontario insurance won't see the infractions on my third year and/or the ones where I got a ticket with no points? I asked to see if I could get a my record for the last three years with all infractions, and they said they don't have it on file. So do I just give the insurance company the information that's on my driving record from Quebec?

Thanks for all the help. It makes a huge difference in trying to get insured with State Farm, as they are the only ones that are not up the sky high.

Tu vas pleurer un peu sur les assurances, mais le plaquage est beaucoup moins cher.

Quand j'avais checke avec Statefarm, ils avaient vu toutes mes infractions jusqu'a 3 ans. (jai 2 tickets qui sortent de mon dossier l'annee prochaine + 1 accident responsable).

Pourquoi t'as demenage, ctu a cause du PQ au pouvoir la? ;p

Haha non, j'ai vendu ma maison a Gatineau, et mes parents habitent l'autre cote de la frontiere lol. Mais je prefère rester sur le coté ontarien! Moins de drame. J'ai appeler State Farm aujourd'hui et ils m'ont donner une quote pour 1400 pour l'annee, comparer a 2300+ avec les autres assurances. Je leur ai dit que je suis aller chercher mon drivers record et que ca montre un seul ticket et la fille a rien dit. J'ai tout de meme aucune idée s'ils ont accès aux autres tickets?!

Lol! Nah j'ai habité 14 ans en Ontario pis 10 au Quebec, pis je choisi l'Ontario. La seule chose qui est bonne au Quebec, c'est la biere qui est moins cher pis vendu dans les depanneurs ;) Pis pour ca j'ai juste a traverser la frontiere. Moins de taxes, et moins d'impots en Ontario :p

yeah, just give them your file from SAAQ and that's it. Only the one with demerit point are shown in your file (I ****ing love Québec for that :D), just don`t talk about the rest ;)
