Moving clutch bracket

Hi everyone, just a quick technical question. Is it possible to move the clutch housing/bracket? I need to attach a mount but won't fit in by barely a few millimeters! Is this something that can be moved or meant to stay in this position?

Thanks!IMG_20200402_123901.jpeg

I think most of them can be moved - that mounting is basically just a clamp on the handlebar. However, if you need to also move the left switchgear... doodad (pod?), those frequently have a little plastic dowel/peg that fits into a hole on the handlebar. You can remove the peg, but be warned - without the peg there might not be much that solidly holding it in place, so further modification may be required to get it to stay put again.

With that type yes.
The more you move it in towards the centre, the more leverage you have on the lever and the less likely to break it in a fall.

The fancy ones you have can also create some clearance problems on the switch housing if you don't :|

Ok great! I was hoping it was no problem in moving it. I looked in the service book but no mention.

I don't think I need to move anything else other than the clamp, it's literally a matter of millimeters!

This will most likely be an issue.
I tried to move my OEM clutch lever to accommodate a mirror mount but due to the clearance I cannot.
