Move your bikes off Front Street!!!!

I felt guilty last week when a few bikes got tickets. I knew they would but I was too busy to post.

They film a lot of movies near Front E/ Yonge street which means a lot of the regular parking spots get full. You can only park on the North side of front until 2:30pm then you will ticket and/or tow your bike/car. I've seen it happen a lot lately.

Recap - Front street east of yonge to about Church st........don't park and leave your bike on the north side of the street if you wont be back before 2:30pm.

I've always wondered, how does this ticket system work... where do they leave it on a bike ?

wherever they think it will stay... i have seen between front brake cables and slid between gas tank and seat

and if it dosen't stay...you find out when you try to renew your plate lol

The two times I've gotten parking tickets on my bike, one was stuck under the passenger strap on the seat and the other was stuck between my guages and keyswitch.

While sitting at an outdoor patio having a coffee...about 40 ft from my bike..

my alarm went off when the a** got to close, scared the crap outta him, dropped the ticket. So I walked over, and moved my bike, he was cool with that lol. But I got one on my school campus, was circled around my front brake cable - stoooopid Humber parking security, I have a reserved spot, doesn't matter if I drive my car or ride my bike, it's my parking space *both plates were registered to the spot  just threw it on the ground, nothing happened with plate renewal.

Humber probably saw you slip through the gates. When I visited to fix a schedule, I had to get a card and a display ticket from the guard and then return the card. I could have just slipped by the gate, but no.Not in effect on the weekends for the motorcycle courses, it's so simple then.

I went to school there, bought a parking pass, lot 9, parking space 122 for the year. I registered both my bike and car license plates to the spot as I take both. Still got a ticket with the bike for some reason and yes i do have that card to lift up the gate, but honestly who would stop, take it out of your pocket, open the gate, put it back in your pocket, then continue on - in November when its +2 or 3 out.
