Mounting Stebel air horn on GL1200

Anyone able to offer any tips for mounting my new stebel nautilous compact air horn on my oldwing? (Interstate model)

I know the wiring requires a relay and that's no problem. My question is more about where and how to mount this horn that is about 3-4 times bigger than stock. Havn't had the lower fairings off yet but just looking through the vents it looks like it could be quite tight mounting it in the stock location.

I managed to put mine inside the nose of my cbr1100 xx.. Should be lots of room on that bike ..

Don't forget you installed it 'cause it might cause you to poop your pants when you hit the button...Hahaha.

Can't help you with where on your bike, to mount this - but, try to get the horn(s) as close to the road surface, as is practical (clearance-wise) - facing forward, obviously - pointing slightly downward. The road acts as a reflecting surface and reinforces the sound of the horn, which amplifies the sound, forward of your bike.

I know it is totally different bike, but I managed to install mine under the left passenger foot peg... Later I changed the foot pegs for floorboards but the horn is still in the same place.
