I wonder if he hit the front brakes harder if he could land on his wheels again? Was that a motorcycle lane, or what the hell was he doing there?
 
If you crash avoiding an idiot it's a single vehicle fault against your insurance even if you save the other person's life. If you hit them even a little bit it's OK.

This is Russia. Driver gets blamed for everything if pedestrian is hit (rightfully so in most cases).
