Motorcycle towing.

I searched around, but couldnt find anything in this forum.
I'm looking to get a motorcycle towed this winter, while i get all my license/insurance in order.

Im currently just contacting people on kijiji and etc, to see how much it would cost.

Is there anyone towing approved by this forum?

thanks.

Expect to pay close to $100 for a basic tow.

Its expensive.

There are several on here:

1. www.MotoLimo.com (an advertiser here);
2. a member that goes by the name of 'infernobuster' (www.thetoyhauler.ca) who runs a hauling company much like MotoLimo;
3. I believe (but am not 100% on this one i.e. not sure if he does just storage or also towing), another member that goes by the name of 'kneedragger88'

There has been good things written for all 3 members (I've not used any of them/am not affiliated with any of the companies - just listing them here for information for you to follow up on).

Good luck.

CAA membership for motorcycle towing is around $110 and you get up to four tows per year and up to 200 km each tow.

I got it too, at the auto show. Came down to 102 after tax plus 2 free movie tickets.

I think Motolimo is affiliated with CAA as well, so you can get CAA and a professional motorcycle tow at the same time.

I used MotoLimo about a week ago and it was amazing service. Hard to see my money leave but trust me use him.

Thats what CAA is for. 1-2 Tows and you already got your money back. You got 4 tows.

Yeah, they are. Just make sure you request MotoLimo when you make the call so its 100%

I think you can actually just contact MotoLimo directly, just mention your CAA Plus membership when you're calling them.

I think I read this somewhere...may be here on this forum....get a friend.....pay $20 for a U haul....get some straps....tie it down and tow it in yourself

or a friend with a minivan, get a ramp, remove the windshield and tie it down, many options it just comes down to the amount of effort you want to put into it or just pay someone to do it

remember with uhaul is 20 plus insurance and a charge per km, it will be about 60 bucks once all is said and done, plus you have to buy the straps, another 20.

good luck
