Hey Folks,
I've got a 2011 Ninja 400R, and just wondering if someone can help me in the right direction on deciding how to tow the bike on a 2011 Jeep Wrangler?

I see a lot of options, just wondering what ya'll might recommend or where to start looking for such gear.

Thx

- trailer kit for your Wrangler
- U-Haul trailer with a ramp ($15/day)
- ratcheting straps
- Canyon rider strap for the front

IMHO, you don't need a wheel choke, although of course it's beneficial if you get one. We transported my first bike on the U-Haul trailer and my 2nd bike inside a van. Two properly installed ratcheting straps (in front, with canyon rider on the clip-ons) held the bike perfectly. We added two straps in the back. Also, when we moved the bike on the trailer, we rolled the front wheel against the front of the trailer. Didn't have a wall in front of the bike inside a van, but the bike didn't move at all during our 200 km drive.

Check out the pitbull no-strap mounts. They bolt onto the floor of the trailer and have a U bar which attaches to the swing arm kind of like a rear stand, without lifting the rear wheel. Don't have to worry about blowing fork seals by ratcheting them down for an extended drive. Bluestreakracing.com carries them or you can check them out directly on Pitbull's website.
