I noticed a key cutting review about the "lock Clinic" In Toronto.
I also saw a few guys there interested but the distance was too great for them. Out of curiosity, could someone help those guys and myself included with a good key cutter somewhere on this neck of the woods.
Im in the Hamilton are, Any good suggestions based on great experience? Even something in the Burlington/oakville area?

Thanks in adance

If you've got the blank already you can take it to home depot or CT and they'll usually cut for free... but they give you a disclaimer on auto keys saying they might F it up

I had a key cut a CT today. Took it home...doesn't work. I can see that the vertical lines in the middle of the key don't line up at all with the original! I'll be taking in back and letting them try it again.

Ya CT is such an obvious choice when it comes to key cutting. As that is where i have brought house keys. Which they have also managed to mess up.
Has to be someone who does this for a living, and not some person they call over the PA to come give er a whirl!

For any key machine to cut accurately they must be set on a regular basis. Within tolerances + or - 0003 inches plus width tolerances adjusted.
As the above "professor" says not for somebody to give it a whirl. lol.
Good locksmiths will cut your key accurately.
