Motorcycle Insurance

Hi, I'm planning on getting a bike in the future and the only thing stopping me is insurance.
So I'm just wondering, would motorcycle insurance be cheaper if let's say I get the full M license but not ride/own a bike until I'm like 25? Or it's just a waste of money? I'm 21 right now and heard insurance will be cheap if your 25+.

Get your M2 and hold it for a year, insurance will drop a lot. There is also a big drop at 25y/o for most companies, some companies do it at 30.

You could also get a very small CC bike and use that for the first year to learn to ride with a lower insurance premium.

Hmm, are you not also registered as Snorlex? See my post on your other thread

I'm 25 and get $1200 per year with StateFarm with a 2006 Ninja 500r. Would be $700 if I had my car through them as well. I would look into a smaller CC bike, maybe a 250 ninja or something of equal size until you are 25 and have been licensed for five or more years; that includes time with your G1 and G2. SF really likes to see you being licensed with anything for five or more years.
