Motorbike safety inspection in Milton area

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum as I just bought my second bike, a Kawi KLX250 dual sport ( the first bike I bought was a Honda 175 in 1982!!)

Just wondering if someone can recommend a mechanic to do the MTO safety in the Milton area? Does the safety cost the same regardless of who does it?

Base Cost is same between shops. Some shops may find more value added things required to drive up the bill. Motorcycle shops will be very busy right now. I would call your local canadian tire and see if they have a motorcycle tech on staff and when they work. Less likely to fail for silly things imo as they dont really want to be working on motorbikes.
 
Martin and John at Milton Honda Powersports are great...they'll work on most makes, fast and thorough...on Steeles and Martin just south of the 401...

+1 to team Honda in Milton for safety inspections
 
If the Shop that you narrowed down sells tires, move to another that doesn't.

That advice came to me from someone on this Site and it was good advice to follow.... 👍
 
Ace Moto Tech is located in Milton. The shop is very highly rated with the GTAM community.
Couldn't say the cost of the safety
 
So we just had two bikes safetied at Milton Honda Powersports...a Honda that my hubby sold and a Yamaha that he bought...the Yamaha we knew would pass safety with the tires on it, however, they wouldn't last that long and they were original (bike is a 2009), so we asked Marty for new shoes...they had Dunlops there on the rack and without even asking, they price matched Fortnine's pricing...so the tires ended up being $80 less for the set than what we originally thought they would be...to me, that's being a decent, honest place that I can trust...
