Hey folks,
I have a question. I have already used google but didn't find the answer i was looking for. May be somebody here have experience or have been in my shoes at some point.
When I had purchased a new vehicle, I told the dealer i wanted to transfer my old plates to the new car and keep the old car parked unplated in my garage until I found time to send it to junkyard. Well, after finding the ownership of the old car, I see that seller/buyer section of the ownership (old car) is not there. And the junkyard company that's taking my car away needs the buyer/seller part of the ownership.
I understand I could go to the MTO office directly and wait in the lengthy line and get my answer questioned. But i was hoping may be somebody here could educated me a bit.
Old car's status:
Unplated parked in the garage since the new car came in. Old car needs to go away to scrap yard and ownership is missing buyer/seller section.

I thank you for your help in advance.

In order for your question to be answered, you actually need to have one.

What exactly are you asking?

You need the ownership of the car to give it to the scrappers. If you don't have it, go to the ministry and get another one printed. If you are the registered owner it is not a difficult process.

scroll down to replacing a vehicle permit.

An ownership is not always necessary, a bill of sale will work just as good.

Thanks guys. I have the ownership and I'm the registered owner. I guess MTO ripped off the buyer seller section of the ownership paper when they transferred my plates to the new car.
The scrapers need the buyer seller section of the ownership intact with the ownership before they can tow away the vehicle.
