Yup, Ducati started with a holeshot launch device just for the race starts, but all of the MotoGP manufacturers now have versions that can be used while riding. The rules prohibit electronic suspension, so the squat devices need to be mechanically operated by the rider.
If the prohibition on electronically adjustable suspension didn't exist, all of the squat devices would be like the traction control which can be customized for each corner. The bike knows where it is via GPS and can adjust traction control and engine braking on a corner by corner basis.
