Who is going?

My first time at the big track with pro 6

I'm going on the Monday, never been to a pro6 day. So is the big track as fun as they say it is?

It's better.

I will be there both days and Sunday too.

Black bike with pink white and silver maple leaves on it.

I'll be there on Friday with the yellow Ducati Sport Classic, and my brother will have the red Superchicken. No room in intermediate when we finally signed up so we will both run in novice. No matter - it is fun at at any speed. Looking forward to seeing how the new paving has changed things. The huge concrete patches kind of freaked me out a bit last year.

If you are a first-timer on the big track my advice is to make sure you have someone show you the lines. The correct way around turn 2 especially is not obvious, and turn 5 can also be complicated.

Mosport is the only track I have been on where I can actually find the aero-limited top speed (or nearly) of my bike. The back straight is that long. Quite an experience, holding it pinned in top gear for that long.

first time you go with pro 6 you follow a controlled ride for the first few sessions.

I'm okay with paying $30 to follow a pro rider for the morning.

I'm going to be on the black 636 with white tank.

I'll be with my red cbr600, no seat pad it. My friend will be on a 90s Yamaha 600 light blue. My friends a lot quicker then me so it's nice following his lines.

Sat Sun for me with the DOCC gang.I should be there sometime friday afternoon.Look for the Muffin and say hi.

I will be there Friday and Monday. Black GSXR #19x. Not sure which group I am riding in, either Red or yellow.

I'm Friday and Monday in Red

Bumble bee bike with a bunch of Zippy ties holding it together

I just registered to pro6. Why do they require numbers on the bike? I have numbers on the front but none on the tail.

For fast accurate bike, rider identification. I use colored electrical tape. #just have to be easy to read.
To be more specific,if your bike is smoking or leaking fluid or dragging loose/broken parts, the marshalls need to be able to identify and blackflag the right bike.It could also have something to do with your behavior on the track.Noob class does not allow passing on the inside in turns (docc rule). It's especially important at a big track like Mosport where radio communication is the only way for the marshalls to stay in touch with the rest in charge.
