This city is different. It's not the fast paced gogogo life style of toronto. Lots type B personality, lots of lazy people, people that have no where to be, very relaxed atmosphere but the people here suck (the ones I've met anyway). Lots of spoilt rich kids and people who have a 1 dimensional way of thinking (brainwashed liberals). Lots of people who live in clouds have no true concept of how the world really works. I've met some cool guys but they live different lives and are busy doing things that involve work, gf etc.... I'm stuck here for 483 more days, been here 9 months. Living in all 4 cities now, I've hung around lots of different types of guys/girls. This city is full of boys, emasculated men, ****** dj's and guys who hate leg day. Can't relate to many guys here. Lots of flaky people. So many cooler dudes in Toronto. I ended up here on the fly with my best friend but he moved back to London. I'm stuck here to finish my school and can't wait to gtfo. Not sure where I'm going with this. It's 8:24 on a friday and I have nothing to do tonight. I'm only on this planet for another 50-60 years and then I'm dead. End rant

There is St. Catherines St, the McGill scene. I went to school at McGill and there was always stuff to do. The French are different, with a different outlook on life. I'm sure you can find lots of interesting things to do. I did.

this place isnt what is used to be from what I heard. after 2011-2012 this city lost it's edge. I'm living downtown at the moment. was living on blvd st laurent in the ****** club/bar district surrounded by dusty plateau girls, hipsters and loser basic boys. mcgill scene sucks. only the loft parties are good

used to live in calg. hung out in edmonton a lot at the west edmonton mall palace casino. chilled with fort mac guys at poker rooms. had opportunity to go there but said **** it
 
All I have to keep myself occupied is the gym, dj'ing, full tilt poker, walking around my perimeter downtown, youtube, downloading music, people watching and gtam
 
You got a description for everyone, sounds like the problem is you.

maybe. I'm a bit introverted. but only when I'm around people i don't feel like talking to. Even guys I've met n the "nightlife scene" here suck. Bunch of boys who try to act like grown up men. In toronto they would be nothing

getting traction with the dj thing. New mix coming this weekend. listening to my mixes, appreciating my work and getting set time will really make my time here go by quickkk

Fort Mac or Alberta is beautiful in its own way. The sun sets, sun rises, the high altitude, clear skies, dry heat, frosty winters, the beef, the girls, the people are great. When I'm in Alberta I think, this is Canada
