Monday October 10th - Oakville/Burlington

Monday morning ride for giggles! Meet up at Walkers and Dundas Tim Hortons, we leave at 9am. Will be heading up North in search of nice views and country roads, going towards Acton or wherever we end up for coffee and a snack or light brunch. The plan is to be back around noon.

The pace will be easy, no 400 series highways and is 250 & noob friendly. I do not have a particular route in mind so suggestions are more than welcome.

I checked on google and don't see a Tim Hortons at that intersection.
OP - Can you clarify?
I'll check in the morning and if this ride is still happening I can be there for about 9:00....ish.

Sorry for the late reply, just got in. Ride is on for 9am, will wait to make sure Katatonic arrives. There is a Tim's there, it is in the Longo's plaza and has a CIBC bank there.

I will check posts online before we leave.

I'm aiming to leave Guelph by 8:00 so I should be there on time.

Today was a great day for riding. I also live in Oakville rode must of rode past you at about 9 this morning on the way to Paris Ontario. Took Dundas all the way to Hwy 24 , then rode the East side of the Grand river road north to 24. Down 24 to QEW East to Hwy 54 south along the Grand river parkway continued on to Dunville. Then headed back to Oakville using the 20 side road to Stoney creek. Took QEW back to 3rd line. Notice a lot of riders on this route. No problems with rader and the traffic was flowing well.

Next time I will try to join your group for a ride.
 
Agreed, good to meet you guys and it was a great ride! Still have some good days left, post-up when you are free and lets go for another run! I'm up for late evenings (after 9pm) or next weekend if the weather forecast improves.

I'm in for the weekend Manny, pending the weather... Lookin pretty crappy right now but hopefully that changes by the time Friday kicks around. Will keep an eye out and post up later in the week. Weeknights just got stuffed up for this week unfortunately.
 
Damn, it got worse since I checked last... Might have to play hookey on Monday :)

Still waiting on klayman but for now lets set up the ride for Sunday oct 16 ,meeting at tim hortons at walkers line and dundas at say 10:30am to let things warm up a bit.Destination and duration of ride will be discussed amongst the riders who show up.All are welcome.
