They have figured out it's easier to elect people at the school board level rather than into government.
If they can get their kids properly indoctrinated at school it doesn't who the president is.
I wonder if the irony of their groups name is lost on them considering they want to curtail the liberties of others.
"I'm for liberty let's ban books!"
 
Who is this "They" that you speak of? Should all books unlike movies be made available to all ages?
 
Harry Potter is about demons and satanic ideals . Burn the books and ban the movies .
And make the author public apologize and wear an A on her shirt to publicly shame her as an author.

I was thinking more along the lines of "The Story of O". I would want my kids to be mature enough, before reading a book like that. Harry Potter would be a good intro to what happened in places like Salem and the Spanish Inquisition, and how people striving for good can get twisted along the way.
 
I propose that if you wish to have a book banned that you must actually read it and highlight the parts you find offensive. Only then can we discuss. I suspect there would be too many big words for lots of folks.

That should go without saying, although it would offend just about everyone.

Except it inevitably comes down to trying to ban other people's stupidity and not our own.
