Does anyone have any recommendations or know of anyone that will come to you to replace the tires on the rims. I checked on GTA and it seems the last post regarding GTA Tire guy was over a year and I don't know if he is still in business. Couldn't find anything online either.

I'm looking to see if there is someone who has all the tire removal equipment in a mobile unit that will come to the customer , remove the tires from the bike and install , balance etc. I can purchase the tires myself.

Thanks

Not too sure about mobile guys. But I know Frekeyguy on this forum will pick up your bike and take it to his shop in a trailer if you can't get it there. Try to PM him. His work is great and his rates are extremely fair.

Not saying you'd do this but I could only imagine driving to someone's house, removing their wheels, changing the tires, and installing the wheels again to hear "$100!!! That's a ripoff!!"

From what I understand GTATireGuy's prices are reasonable. $65 for removal off bike and tire install and back on bike. I think just the convenience is more than worth it. Better than making an appointment somewhere, taking time off work, wasting half a day to get tires installed at a shop vs having it done at home and scheduling a time of your choice.

I guess it all depends on the bike and distance to travel. If I had to drive 20min each way to do the work you're now over an hour of my time. If someone wants to do it for the sake of doing it then sure but by the time you factor fuel, overhead, and make a wage, you're working for peanuts.

Hey, $100 to do both tires on a heavy cruiser is well worth it. How much is your time worth?
