The victim points out to a cop who assaulted him, says he's 100% . But thats not good enough for the stupid **** of a Judge.

this **** aint right. No child should ever have to resort to the decision he made.

im so ****ing ****** off right now, its amazing that the father didnt blow a ****ing gasket in the courtroom.

he's a better man than me. I would have pushed her down the stairs , and ask her how it feels to be bullied.

Sadder still is that 11 year olds know how to commit suicide in this day and age.

But you're right, probably a better man than the both of us (my reaction would have probably been more...extreme...).

You can find lots on the internet.

Thats why there are so much gun violence in schools. Kid get bullied, gets a gun, come back next day, teach them a lesson. Enjoy the moment of glory with the look on their face.

They (public, media) generally tend to shift the blame on guns and the victim (the one being bullied), rather than looking at the root cause of the problem.... bullies.

When kids report bullying, its generally dismissed as petty, until he go all "Scarface" on their arse

Our culture respects physical strength and violence. In sports, we love to hear people trash talk each other. In some sports, like hockey, we respect players who fight. We admire them, cheer for them. We love UFC. We like to see movies where people kick ***.

As a result, our natural response when someone is being bullied is "kick the bully in the nuts!", "Fight back!", "Punch him in the nose!".

Very rarely are the weak and the powerless respected or admired. They're only admired if they can out-bully the bully. If they can be tougher and stronger.

We won't see a solution to this problem until we stop seeing success in these relationships in terms of who was stronger, tougher, or put up a better fight.

We encourage the people who are bullied, to become bullies themselves. And they often do. They will use whatever power they can acquire to regain their status and fight back. That's why there are so many nasty people in politics who were bullied as kids - they lust after power so they can use it to get their way, finally.

So you're saying its bad to fight back if you're bullied? You call someone who defends himself a bully? Maybe someone should update me the definition of a bully, I'm still running on definition 1.0.

By your tone you're saying its wrong that you're being bullied, even if you didn't make that choice
 
I can understand the decision. If the kid was alive to testify it would likely be different... but the conclusion was the right one. No justice served for the victim, however.

I wrote my thoughts in my previous post. I could write them in a different way, but my thoughts would be the same, my point would be the same, and it would include none of the things that you wrote in your post.

I can understand if you don't agree with me, and that's ok. But I think you didn't really understand what I wrote. I'm not really sure what else I can do for you. Read my post again, and hopefully you'll see that I didn't say the things that you wrote in your post.

I think it's ironic that you would start calling people weak in a thread that's actually about bullying.

Now people have to "back up" their posts, or they're weak?

I hope it's you that's pulling my leg.

I'm not here to fight with people I don't know over the internet. I made a post and expressed my opinion. If you don't like it, that's fine. Move on and leave me alone.
