I would get on the phone and ***** like crazy. Could mess with your credit... bad if you're near renewal.

Yeah, I don't know that I'd go apeshit on them, but let them know. You're going to end up paying sooner or later, better to fix it now and not worry about some kind of penalty that they'll try and make you pay later on.

As a former credit counsellor in the Collection department of the bank.......call them asap and advise them that the payment has not come out yet. It will not effect your credit bureau negatively unless it exceeds 30 days in arrears, however most companies have an internal scoring system which it may impact. What ever you do ensure that the funds are available at all times incase they want to sweep your account.

thanks for the tips...left a message with the mortgage broker i dealt with. it was for a second high interest mortgage. I'm thinking that they may be trying to fleece me more with penalties since they realize that I've been paying on time....I will be consolidating everything into one mortgage payment next year when I can prove my income to be higher than it was last year. The last two years were financially tough for me....

I wouldn't rely on the broker. He already got paid, contact the financial institution directly. If he doesn't respond in time it means nothing to say you called your broker. He's just the sales agent, he doesn't support or maintain the product after the fact.

And Yes....I was the Bastard but I work for a top 5 bank so I didn't treat clients like a collection agency would. I really did offer solutions and helped people....well the ones who weren't ***** to me.
