missed canada post delivery td for bike parts, should i try my luck tonight?

planning on going to CP office to pick up parts without missed delivery slip. it said pick up tomorrow after 1300 hrs before i "lost it". If i have to go tomorrow, i cant go for at least a week. anyone try going before the next day?

Simple solution - call the post office, ask them if your package is there yet.
 
You don't need the slip, just go with ID showing your address. I've picked up tons of parcels at the post office depot without the slip, kids text me when they come home from school telling me there was a slip on the door, I just stop on way home.

So to clarify, you picked it up the day of the missed delivery? I've never had the guts to risk that and have always followed the 1300 next day rule. You sir, are a rebel.

Huge balls. Getting turned away at the post office is very humiliating damhik.
 
I always try later that same day and it's only been an issue once. Either the package didn't get back to base yet or the clerk was just being a jerk.

yes surprisingly so. So if you ever really want to gamble, go ahead and try it if u really want the package. However they said that it is usually a more rare occurrence.
 
I've never once waited until the next day, I always get it same evening at the local postie outlet.
 
usually they go drop it off around 7ish at my CP counter.

I think im gonna go for flex delivery for my next order that usually goes through ups.. they like just leaving it at my porch
